The agreement and operator
These Terms apply to MapBulk’s website, Chrome Extension, Dashboard, REST API, MCP and CLI when you accept them through the applicable sign-up or order process. “Customer” means the person or organization using the service; a person accepting for an organization must have authority to bind it. A paid subscription is created through the applicable checkout, not merely by reading these Terms.
MapBulk is operated by Strejaru Mihai PFA, CUI 51163290, trade-register number F2025001689003. Address: Str. Nucilor, nr. 18A, bl. P20, et. 4, Drăgășani, Vâlcea, Romania. Contact us about service, billing or privacy at support@mapbulk.com. Do not send passwords, API keys or full payment-card details. The privacy request guide explains the information a request should contain.
The intended audience is professional/business use by adults with capacity to contract. Mandatory consumer and other non-waivable protections remain applicable where the law provides them.
Related documents and consent
The Acceptable Use Policy describes prohibited activities. The Privacy Policy provides privacy information; it is not a blanket tracking or marketing consent. Where MapBulk processes personal data on customer instructions, an effective DPA must cover that activity. A negotiated order governs its expressly agreed commercial terms; data-protection terms govern conflicting processing obligations, subject to mandatory law.
What MapBulk provides
MapBulk helps collect public business information, enrich eligible websites with explicitly published emails and evidence, review results and export CSV, JSON or XLSX. Local Extension collection occurs in the customer’s browser; hosted collection occurs in the cloud. Sync is a distinct customer choice. Enrichment-only imports use the customer’s existing website list rather than purchasing Maps discovery for it again.
Availability of fields, sources and results varies. A requested result amount is a maximum request, not guaranteed coverage or a promise that the source contains that many matching businesses. Published benchmarks, if any, apply only to their stated conditions, not every request. MapBulk is not an email-sending service, mailbox verifier, legal adviser or guarantee of outreach permission.
Accounts, access and credentials
Provide accurate registration details, use email/password or supported Google sign-in, protect sign-in credentials and API keys, and use access only for authorized purposes. Tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for instructions and activity you authorize, without excluding MapBulk’s responsibility for its own acts or obligations.
The Free plan includes local collection and may use its available welcome credits for Maps Cloud and enrichment in the Dashboard. The bonus does not grant paid-plan features. Scale and Max include REST API, MCP and CLI access; Free and Pro do not. The CLI is a client of the same REST API and uses the same account, credits and permissions. Local worker allowances are maximum selectable Chrome workers, not a requirement to open every worker.
Homepage sample and welcome credits
A visitor may request up to 100 real businesses per homepage sample, up to three anonymous samples in total, with no daily reset. A source may return fewer results or be unavailable. Browser identification and server-side accounting enforce the allowance; they are not an infallible identification of a person. Clearing a cookie does not grant permission to evade the allowance.
Email and context columns in the anonymous preview are locked placeholders, not hidden invented results. After signup, the selected sample can be transferred to the account without another Maps discovery charge and enriched once. Accepted-email yield varies and is not guaranteed.
An eligible new account receives 1,000 welcome credits once. These credits do not expire. Signing in again, repeating a callback or creating another workspace does not create another grant. Enrichment of the transferred sample uses credits under the same accepted-email rule as other campaigns.
Rights to sources and output
You must have the permissions and lawful basis necessary for the sources, instructions and intended use. Public availability is not a blanket license: source terms, copyright, database rights, privacy and marketing laws may restrict collection or reuse. Google and other providers may impose restrictions or block access. MapBulk is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google merely because the service works with Google Maps.
These Terms grant no permission to override a third party’s restrictions. Google Maps terms contain restrictions including mass downloading and bulk feeds; whether a particular operation is authorized must be assessed separately. Do not bypass authentication, CAPTCHA, paywalls or other access controls, or instruct us to ignore applicable restrictions. The absence of a technical block is not proof of permission.
MapBulk retains rights in its software and original materials. You retain your rights in material you submit. Your limited authorization to process that material is for delivering, securing and supporting your requested service, not an unrestricted right for MapBulk to resell it, train models on it or use it for unrelated advertising. Output rights remain subject to underlying third-party rights and applicable law.
Your responsibilities for personal data and outreach
Use the minimum data needed for a defined lawful purpose. Provide required notices, including source information for indirectly collected personal data where applicable, and honor objections, deletion requests and suppression requirements. Do not assume a published work email establishes consent or that a B2B audience exempts a communication from regulation.
Customer responsibilities do not remove obligations imposed directly on MapBulk. If instructions appear unlawful, we may seek clarification, decline or suspend the affected processing. Do not submit special-category personal data, children’s data or private consumer profiles to a product designed for ordinary business records.
Credit accounting
| Operation | Displayed credit rule |
|---|---|
| Local Maps collection or importing an existing website list | No collection/import credit charge. Enrichment or hosted Maps processing uses available credits; access to additional paid features follows the active plan. |
| Hosted Maps delivery | 0.5 credit for each unique business lead delivered within the campaign. |
| Website enrichment | An additional 0.5 credit for a lead with at least one accepted email, not per email address. |
| No accepted email | No enrichment charge for that lead; a delivered hosted Maps lead still has its discovery charge. |
| Replay and duplicate delivery in the same operation | No duplicate charge for the same accepted work. Separate new campaigns have their own campaign-scoped deduplication. |
Requested work may reserve a maximum amount before processing. A reservation is not the final charge: billable delivery consumes it and unused reserved credit is released on completion or cancellation/reconciliation. Cancelling unfinished work does not reverse charges for results already delivered. For example, 100 hosted leads of which 40 receive emails use 50 discovery credits plus 20 enrichment credits.
Multiple keywords and selected locations contribute to one campaign and one deduplicated list, with one shared target and budget. An email target stops when reached, when its budget is exhausted, or when available coverage is exhausted. “All available” uses at most the available balance confirmed at Start; it does not automatically purchase more credits or guarantee exhaustive coverage.
Launch plans
| Plan | Base monthly price (USD) | Credits per confirmed payment | Maximum local workers | REST / MCP |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 1,000 once on eligible signup | 1 | No |
| Pro | $20 | 20,000 | 4 | No |
| Scale | $39 | 60,000 | 10 | Yes |
| Max — 180,000 credits | $99 | 180,000 | 30 | Yes |
| Max — 500,000 credits | $199 | 500,000 | 30 | Yes |
| Max — 1,000,000 credits | $299 | 1,000,000 | 30 | Yes |
USD is the base currency. Shopify Markets may present a local currency; the purchased plan determines the credit allocation, not a conversion of the amount paid. The checkout displays applicable taxes and the total before purchase. “Founders pricing” is a commercial name, not a promise of a limited number of places or a comparison with an unpublished standard price.
Cloud speed tiers are planned but not active in this launch version. We do not intentionally assign different Cloud processing speeds by subscription; actual processing still depends on workload and source availability.
Payment, renewal and plan changes
Paid subscriptions use Shopify checkout and Seal Subscriptions for recurring billing. Checkout starts from an authenticated MapBulk account. Returning from checkout is not payment confirmation: access and credits are granted after the payment is verified. A failed payment creates no new credit allocation.
Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. The checkout and account controls must disclose the amount, currency, applicable taxes and renewal details before purchase. You cannot repurchase the same plan before its scheduled renewal to obtain another early allocation.
Changing to a different plan charges that plan’s full price and grants its full credit allocation after confirmed payment, starting a new monthly period. The change is not prorated. Existing credits keep their original expiry. Only one subscription may continue renewing for the account. While a payment or change is unresolved, further changes may be held to prevent duplicate charges; a failed change does not itself entitle MapBulk to charge again.
Credit expiry and cancellation
Each paid credit allocation expires three calendar months after it is granted. This is a separate expiry for each allocation, not an extension of all older credits whenever you renew or change plan. Credits expiring earliest are consumed first; the non-expiring welcome grant remains separate.
Cancelling stops future renewal, not the already paid service period. Existing credit allocations retain their original expiry, and feature access follows the active plan. The subscription portal provides cancellation and payment-method management; plan changes follow MapBulk’s account flow. Stopping a campaign and cancelling a subscription are different actions.
Billing problems, refunds and disputes
Contact support@mapbulk.com with the relevant order or campaign identifier if you believe a charge or credit allocation is incorrect. Refunds and disputes are reviewed through support; no automatic refund or additional money-back guarantee is promised. A confirmed refund must be reconciled with the affected allocation without an arbitrary deduction from unrelated credits or a negative balance.
Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, refund or other statutory rights. Any legally required information or express request concerning immediate performance must be presented in the applicable purchase flow; merely browsing this site does not waive a right.
Results, exports and retention
CSV, JSON and XLSX exports cover the campaign or supported selection identified in the export controls, including the chosen All, Has email or No email filter where offered. Review that selection before confirming an export. Cloud exports are prepared asynchronously: a request is not a ready download. Campaigns created through the Dashboard, REST API (including the CLI), MCP or Extension sync remain available in the same account; ending an AI conversation does not delete the list.
Cloud export artifacts currently expire after 24 hours. This does not mean all campaign data expires then. You may request a fresh artifact while the underlying data remains available. Download and retain copies needed for your own records. Customer-controlled copies cannot be recalled simply by deleting the MapBulk account. Any end-of-service data return/deletion process must comply with the DPA and applicable mandatory rules.
Suspension, ending service and changes
We may restrict the affected operation where reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, compromised access, serious abuse or a material breach. Where lawful and safe, we should give a reason and a reasonable opportunity to resolve a remediable issue. Immediate protective action may be necessary when delay creates harm; suspension is not permission to retain unrelated data indefinitely.
You may stop using the service and use available account-deletion controls, subject to settlement of legitimate outstanding obligations and lawful record retention. Material service or contractual changes should be notified before they take effect where required, with an appropriate opportunity to stop future use. We do not retroactively rewrite the agreed price of completed work through a website update.
Service limitations and liability
Third-party sources can change, become inaccessible or contain inaccurate or incomplete information. To the extent permitted by law, no promise is made of uninterrupted access, exhaustive coverage, a particular conversion rate or deliverable email inboxes. These limitations do not disclaim duties that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
Liability is determined under applicable law. These Terms do not impose an additional monetary liability cap or require you to indemnify MapBulk for its own unlawful conduct. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, death/personal injury where prohibited, or other non-excludable obligations. Source-use risk cannot be eliminated by a disclaimer.
Disputes and general terms
Contact support@mapbulk.com with enough information for us to investigate a dispute. Applicable law determines the competent courts and your mandatory rights. These Terms do not impose arbitration, a class-action waiver or an exclusive foreign forum.
If an effective provision is unenforceable, the remainder should apply only to the extent lawful and consistent with the parties’ agreement. Failure to enforce a provision immediately is not an automatic waiver. A transfer of the service must preserve applicable contractual and data-protection obligations. Any statutory data-portability or switching rights take precedence over inconsistent restrictions.
Acceptable use
Use the service for a lawful, defined purpose
MapBulk is intended for professional business research, customer-directed public-data collection and website enrichment. An operation must have a lawful purpose, proportionate scope and the necessary source permissions. Source accessibility and technical feasibility are not legal authorization. These rules apply to local collection, cloud jobs, imports, API calls and MCP instructions.
Respect access controls and source rights
- Do not access private accounts, credentials, paywalled content or nonpublic information without the necessary authorization.
- Do not bypass CAPTCHA, authentication, access restrictions, or technical safeguards, or conceal prohibited activity.
- Respect applicable website terms, robots directives, relevant text-and-data-mining reservations, intellectual-property rights and database rights.
- Do not overload a source or interfere with service availability. Stop affected activity when its authorization is withdrawn or a legitimate restriction requires stopping it.
A third-party proxy, AI assistant or contractor is not a way to avoid these duties. MapBulk does not grant a license to Google Maps content or promise unrestricted access to it.
Protect individuals
- Do not collect or infer sensitive health, biometric, political, religious, sexual-life or similarly protected data through this business-record service.
- Do not target children, vulnerable people or private consumer profiles; do not use the service for stalking, harassment, doxxing or surveillance.
- Do not use outputs to make unlawful discriminatory decisions or regulated eligibility decisions about employment, credit, insurance, housing or similar matters.
- Respect privacy notices, objections, suppression instructions and applicable deletion/restriction requests. Do not deliberately reimport data to defeat them.
A named professional or sole trader remains an individual for applicable privacy law. Keep evidence of an appropriate lawful basis and provide any required indirect-collection notice. Do not treat an email’s public visibility or MX status as consent to contact its owner.
No unlawful outreach
MapBulk does not send email. If you use exported information in another system, you remain responsible for the applicable electronic-marketing, telephone, anti-spam and do-not-contact rules. Those rules may cover B2B messages and may depend on the recipient’s country and whether the address identifies an individual.
Do not send deceptive or unlawful unsolicited communications, misrepresent your identity, omit legally required notices or opt-outs, or contact someone in violation of an applicable objection. A CSV export is not an outreach permission list. Legal obligations also remain with any other party on whom the law places them.
Protect the service and other customers
- Do not attempt unauthorized account access, credential theft, malware delivery, denial of service or exploitation of vulnerabilities.
- Do not evade credit accounting, rate controls, account restrictions or suspension through multiple identities or keys.
- Do not submit another customer’s data, access keys or confidential information without authorization.
- Do not upload lead data into advertising or analytics systems through unintended fields or unsafe third-party integrations.
Reporting and response
When a credible concern arises, the operator should investigate proportionately, preserve necessary evidence and restrict affected activity when needed. Where lawful and safe, the customer should receive notice and a route to respond. Repeated or serious misuse may justify suspension or termination under the Terms.
Report source-rights, privacy or abuse concerns through the request guide. Give the relevant URL, affected field and reason; do not include passwords or unrelated personal records. Send reports to support@mapbulk.com.
Data Processing Addendum
Read the Data Processing Addendum
Status, parties and scope
This Data Processing Addendum forms part of the Terms between Strejaru Mihai PFA, trading as MapBulk, and the Customer accepting the Terms. It applies to personal data processed on documented customer instructions; its processing schedule is set out below.
Customer may be controller, or a processor authorized by its own controller. MapBulk acts as processor or subprocessor for those activities. Account management and MapBulk’s independent service-security purposes are addressed separately in the Privacy Policy. A contractual label cannot override the real allocation of decisions.
Documented instructions and permitted processing
Processing is limited to providing the agreed collection, import, enrichment, storage, support and export functions on documented lawful instructions, including necessary configured transfers. Instructions comprise the agreement, supported job settings and later lawful documented requests. If law requires different processing, MapBulk must inform the customer before processing unless prohibited by that law.
MapBulk must promptly inform the customer if it considers an instruction to infringe applicable data-protection law. It must not repurpose customer personal data for an independent advertising audience, unrelated resale dataset or model training under this DPA. A change in purpose requires separate authorization and legal assessment; it cannot be hidden inside an operational setting.
Confidentiality and security
Access must be limited to authorized persons subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations. Measures must be proportionate to risks, including access control, separation of customer data, protected transmission, credential handling, incident response and an appropriate ability to restore availability.
Measures include authenticated access, tenant-level data separation, restricted server credentials, protected network transmission and controls for recovering interrupted processing. No ISO/SOC certification or guaranteed recovery time is promised. Customer must secure its accounts, devices and external recipients and avoid submitting unsupported sensitive data.
Subprocessors
The Customer gives general authorization to use the subprocessors identified in the provider register for the stated functions. MapBulk will inform affected customers in advance of intended additions or replacements, allowing a reasonable opportunity to object on data-protection grounds. Send objections to support@mapbulk.com.
Each subprocessor must be bound to relevant data-protection obligations, and MapBulk remains responsible for the subprocessor’s performance as required by applicable law. The provider register identifies the services involved. Their use remains subject to the obligations in this Addendum.
Assistance and individual rights
Taking account of the processing and information available, MapBulk must assist the customer with appropriate measures for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability, and with security, breach notification, impact assessments and prior consultation obligations where applicable.
A request received directly from an individual concerning customer-controlled data should be communicated to the customer and handled consistently with its lawful instructions, unless MapBulk has an independent legal duty. Assistance must not become an excuse to disclose information to an unverified requester or to ignore a deadline.
Personal-data incidents
MapBulk must notify the customer without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal-data breach affecting the customer’s data, provide available information useful for the customer’s legal duties, and supplement it as further facts become known. It must take appropriate steps to contain and investigate the incident and cooperate with the customer.
A controller’s potential 72-hour supervisory-authority deadline is not a general 72-hour allowance for a processor to wait before notifying its customer. Reporting should address the nature of the incident, likely consequences, affected data/categories where known, contact point and measures taken or proposed. A contractual incident notice does not itself determine liability.
Return, deletion and end of service
At the customer’s choice, personal data must be returned or deleted after the processing service ends, with copies deleted unless applicable law requires retention. Customers can export their campaign records as CSV, JSON or XLSX while their account is accessible, or request return through support@mapbulk.com when ending the service. Retained backups are restricted from ordinary use, and deletion instructions must be reapplied if a backup is restored.
Available campaign exports are not a complete substitute for all DPA return or statutory portability obligations. The current 24-hour artifact expiry is not the deletion schedule for every record or backup. Outstanding billing disputes must not be used to disregard non-waivable data rights.
Demonstrating compliance
MapBulk must make available the information necessary to demonstrate compliance with applicable processor obligations and allow/contribute to required audits, including inspections by the customer or its mandated auditor. The parties may agree proportionate confidentiality, safety and scheduling arrangements without removing the substance of that right or regulatory access.
Customer should avoid unnecessarily exposing other customers’ information or compromising security. Any reasonable assistance-cost arrangements must be explicit and must not frustrate mandatory obligations.
International transfers and regional terms
No restricted transfer should proceed until a valid mechanism is selected and completed for the actual exporter/importer roles and destination, with any necessary assessment and supplementary safeguards. Where standard contractual clauses are required, the applicable module, parties, annexes and law/forum selections must be completed; this Addendum does not replace any required standard contractual clauses.
For UK transfers, determine the applicable UK mechanism; for other jurisdictions, apply their relevant requirements. Where applicable CCPA service-provider/contractor conditions apply, MapBulk must not sell or share customer personal data, retain, use or disclose it outside the permitted purposes, or combine it in ways prohibited by those conditions. Applicable monitoring and remediation rights remain available.
